The biggest and best French lifestyle show ever to be staged in the UK is set to be a sell-out with close to 22,000 tickets already booked for The France Show which takes place at London’s Olympia January 18-20, 2008.

The show will offer a cornucopia of French delights designed to appeal to everyone from those looking for a second home to families planning a ski holiday, couples seeking a romantic short break, or people simply keen to sample gastronomic treats from crepes to fine wines and cheeses. Visitors who pre-register can obtain free tickets or pay £8 at the door on the day.

The event, which is expected to attract a minimum of 30,000 visitors, is organised by Archant Life France, publisher of the UK’s three leading French lifestyle magazines – France, Living France, and French Property News and the new leading online property brand www.francepropertyshop.com

Miller Hogg, Archant Regional Managing Director, said: “We’re delighted by this hugely enthusiastic response to the show. It shows our marketing efforts and expertise are really paying off in getting the message across to a new audience with 76% of tickets reserved coming from first time visitors to the show.

“This event offers a unique showcase of the very best of France, and of course, it is all done with a quintessentially French sense of style.

“The show will be a great day out. We’ve got five Experience Zones offering a chance to try new things whether you’re into language, travel, food and wine, fashion and culture, or property. It’s the perfect place to get advice on turning your dreams of visiting or living in France into reality.”

Visitors will be immersed in an authentic French experience from the moment they arrive, passing through a customs point and being greeted by the sights, sounds and smells of France complete with street performers and food stalls. They can visit a replica of Montmartre, shop at the French Market, brush up their language skills, or shop for stylish fashion and accessories.

Exhibition space at the show is selling fast, with more than 200 exhibitors booked into the property zone alone. Exhibitors include Brittany Ferries; French Fairs; mobile home specialist SIBLU; Condor Ferries; furniture specialist Oakdale; leather goods maker Arnold &Arnold; winemaker Mont Tauch; Dover Harbour Board; tourism offices from Arras and Lavandou; language schools.

Specialist tour operators offering a range of skiing, cycling and walking holidays, will also be on hand to offer advice and many are offering special discounted deals exclusively to visitors to The France Show.
